"Marient", The Marine Science Museum in Hachinohe

This touristic and cultural facility conveys the charms of the sea in Hachinohe City, one of Japan's leading fishing cities.
In addition to the large aquariums, the museum features interactive aquariums where they can touch the sea creatures and the "show" put on by the black-tailed gulls.
Adults and children alike can enjoy watching divers feed the fish and experience feeding the fish themselves.

Take the Umineko Bus (sightseeing bus for the Tanesashi Coast) and get off at the Fisheries Science Center or take the Hachinohe City Bus and get off at Misaki-machi
