About Renka-chan
Renka-chan is the official mascot character of Katsuragi City.
She is inspired by Princess Chūjō, a noblewoman who is said to have woven a sacred mandala overnight at Taimadera Temple—a historic temple in Katsuragi featuring twin pagodas designated as National Treasures.
