Experience Being the Director for a Day! Try Working at the Sumo Museum
The Sumo Museum “Kehayaza” (葛城市相撲館「けはや座」) in Katsuragi City will host the “One-Day Museum Director” event to help local children learn more about the museum and feel closer to the sport of sumo.

Monday, August 18, 2025 – 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Katsuragi City Sumo Museum “Kehayaza”
（83-1 Taima, Katsuragi）
Duties
You will learn about the history of sumo, guide visitors around the museum, and help maintain the dohyō (sumo ring).
You can also wear a sumo wrestler costume, try on a sumo-style topknot wig, step into the ring, and take part in the salt-scattering ritual.

Elementary school students living in Katsuragi City

2 participants
*If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, participants will be selected by lottery.
