Vendors Wanted for the Kintetsu Hiking Market | Kintetsu × Katsuragi City × Gose City

Katsuragi City, Gose City, and Kintetsu Railway Co., Ltd. will jointly hold a Kintetsu Hiking event titled “Walking the Foothills of Mt. Katsuragi, Where History and Nature Meet.”

A market will be held at the finish point, and applications are now open for vendors wishing to take part.

Expected number of participants: approximately 400 in fair weather

Market Date and Time

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (national holiday), 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Vendor setup begins at 10:00 a.m.

Registration for the hiking event begins at 9:00 a.m., and participants will start the hike as they complete registration.

Katsuragi City History Museum
250-1 Oshimi, Katsuragi City, Nara

The market is scheduled to take place in front of the Katsuragi City History Museum, which serves as the finish point for the hike.

Vendor Spaces

• Standard booths: 4 (2 m × 2 m each)
• Food truck spaces: 2

The number of standard booths and food truck spaces may be adjusted depending on the applications received.

If there are more applicants than available spaces, vendors will be selected by the organizers. Applicants will be notified of the results by Tuesday, October 6, 2026.

No equipment will be provided. Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, gas, electricity, water, and any other equipment they need.

Vendors using gas must also provide a fire extinguisher.

Vendor Eligibility

Applicants must meet at least one of the following conditions:

• Currently conduct business in Katsuragi City
• Have previously participated as a vendor at an event in Katsuragi City

To encourage visitors to return to vendors’ shops or regular sales locations after the event, vendors are required to promote their business using materials such as flyers, shop cards, or signs.

How to Apply

After reviewing the Vendor Application Guidelines, including the vendor rules and conditions, complete the Vendor Application Form and submit it by mail or in person to the Commerce and Tourism Promotion Division.

The application must be accompanied by one copy of promotional materials to be used at the event, such as a shop card, flyer, sign, or a photograph of a sign.

Please note that the application documents are available in Japanese only.

Vendors who will prepare food on site must obtain the required food-service permit for temporary stalls from the Chuwa Public Health Center before the event.

Application Deadline

Applications must be received by Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Applications submitted in person to the Commerce and Tourism Promotion Division must be delivered by 4:00 p.m.
