The large silicified wood at Nesori

Silicified wood is a type of plant fossil.
Nesori's large silicified wood fossil is estimated to be about 17 million years old, 2m in diameter, 6.4m in height, and is said to be the largest vertical silicified wood fossil in Japan.
It is listed as Japan's special natural monument.
