The Knife Center was Amazing!!! The staff there were very friendly. In fact everyone in Echizen was extremely helpful! We do not speak Japanese and only know a few basics but we were able to make do. Super cool knives and blades on display. Our favorite part was meeting Hiroshima(Hiroshi) Kato. He showed us a little of the forging process and even though there was a language barrier he was able to communicate with us very well. We loved spending time with him. Hiroshi you are a legend!!!
