Hiki jinja Shrine

This shrine was held in high regard by the daimyo of the former Akizuki domain during the feudal era, and the site is home to 300-year-old Okusu trees and Chishiya trees.
The shrine brings in visitors from inside and outside the prefecture all year long that look for spiritual assistance, including family wellbeing, abundant harvest, good luck charms, warding off disaster misfortunes, business success, fishing safety, traffic safety, marriage, healthy births, peace during illness, fire protection, and much more.
It serves as the starting point of the Kyushu Olle (Travel course through Miyazaki / Omaru River), which opened on February 22, 2020.
