Komado Marshland

Komado Marshland is one of the marshlands scattered near the top of the Komadotoge Pass, a legendary pass.
In winter, the marshland is covered with snow with a depth of 3 to 4 meters.
In the vicinity, the mildly sloped ridge line stretches on the plain land at an altitude of 1, 000 to 1, 200 meters, forming the divide.
In 1970, the marshland was designated as a national natural treasure.
