Nikko Onsen
This is a hot spring that extends inside the city of Nikko and along the outskirts of Nikko's two shrines and one temple, which have been registered as World Heritage Sites.
This onsen was built recently when the source Kobo Daishi called the "hot spring of dreams" was unearthed. The water is colorless and transparent.
The charm of this onsen is that after you have traveled around the mountains of Nikko, you can slowly heal your tiredness in this hot spring that gushes out in front of the gates.
