Sanshu Izutsu Yashiki

Sanshu Izutsu Yashiki is the house of a soy sauce and sake maker from the Edo period (1603 - 1868) that has now been renovated into a sightseeing facility.
The building was constructed from the later-Edo period to the Meiji era (1868 - 1912), and it maintains the air of the old times.
Visitors can tour the old tatami-mat rooms and garden found in the main building where residents used to live. At the shop, which is housed within the building's old cellar, visitors can also enjoy shopping for local specialties, or eating meals of local fish.
There is also an interactive experience available to learn about the local industry.
