Tsukiji Hongwanji-Temple

Tsukiji Hongwanji-Temple is a Jodo Shinshu Hongan-Ji school temple that was established about 400 years ago. Its head temple is the Honganji Temple (Nishi Honganji Temple) in Kyoto.
The current main hall was built in 934, imitating an ancient architectural style. It is worth seeing animal sculptures found throughout the temple of cows, peacocks, and lions.
There are also cafes and shops on the premise.
