Komatakyo

You can visit Komatakyo by crossing Lake Taihei on a sightseeing boat.
A valley formed by erosion of bedrocks created by a volcanic eruption about two million years ago, Komatakyo boasts unique scenery of innumerable successions of rapids, waterfalls, potholes, and deep ravines.
In particular, the Sankainotaki Falls is a spectacular waterfall with a twenty-meter fall in three tiers.
