Mt.Ushibuse Nature Park

Ushibuseyama derives its name from its supposed resemblance to cows ('ushi') laying down ('fuse/buse').
In spring, the one thousand cherry trees and hydrangea flowers that dot the woodland paths here bring color to the hills, and the lush, natural area makes the area a great spot for birdwatching.
The observation platform here has a stunning 360 degree panoramic view that's truly a must see.
The area is also a well known spot for viewing the first sunrise of the New Year, and the event held here every year for doing so attracts swathes of visitors.
