Soni Summer Festival
It is held near the Soni Village Elderly Welfare Center every year on August 14th.
Refreshment stands are set up, and Japanese drums and wind instruments are played. During the Kochi Ondo dance by the Kochi Ondo Preservation Society, participants also join in to form a circle and dance.
The spectacular fireworks at the end that echo off of the mountains of Soni are impressive.
