Lake Tanzawa

Lake Tanzawa was formed in 1978 when the Miho Dam was constructed, and it is a beautiful artificial lake with a focus on the natural environment.
From the lake-side you can enjoy seasonal views, including those of Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves, and there are also some facilities, such as the “Tanzawa Lake Memorial Hall and Miho no-Ie(House)”, where you can learn about the history of Tanzawa Lake.
You can also enjoy a variety of activities, including boating, cycling, fishing and camping.
