A rest space that’s too good for “just a break”
Ashigakubo Station Base, nicknamed “A_Sta.Ba,” is a free-to-use rest area located right outside the ticket gates of Seibu Railway Ashigakubo Station.
Open to anyone, it’s a convenient place to drop by while waiting for a train or taking a break between strolls and hikes in the area.
Inside, there is a simple changing tent that hikers can use before and after their walk.
Vending machines sell cookies and other snacks, light meals, and even frozen local game meat (gibier) processed in Yokoze.
Free Wi-Fi is also available, making it a handy spot to relax, check information, or plan the next stage of your trip.
