Akamatsu Highway
It all started in 1958, when 1,400 red pine trees were planted to celebrate the emperor's visit.
With a length of 14.3 km, Akamatsu Highway was selected for inclusion in Japan’s Historical Highways and Japan’s 100 Best Roads.
