Panoramic summit views; seasonal sea of clouds and starry skies.

Mt. Osa is part of the Chugoku Mountains, featuring broad mid-slope terrain and an auto-campsite popular with families.
The area also cultivates black tea, benefiting from a large day–night temperature range.
When conditions align, a sea of clouds (unkai) may be visible from the summit—sunrise over the white expanse is a memorable sight.
On clear nights, the mountain is also suitable for stargazing.
