Mt. Gongen

As the grove of the Gogosha shrine (formerly known as Gongensha shrine), Mt. Gongen retains its abundant natural scenery to bring peace to those who witness it.
It is said that Nankichi Niimi's children's story "Gon, the Little Fox" is set here, and it was long ago home to many foxes.
Even in recent years, wild foxes have been photographed in this forest.
