One of Senshu’s finest ume orchards, welcoming the arrival of spring

Kinyuji Ume (Japanese apricot) Orchard is one of the leading ume blossom spots in the Senshu area.
Ume cultivation here is said to have begun about 300 years ago, and the area has long been loved as a place for kanbai, the seasonal custom of viewing ume blossoms.
The best time to visit is usually from late February to mid-March.
As spring approaches, the white Kinyuji ume blossoms bloom, carrying a sweet-and-tart fragrance through the area.
Set in a calm, hillside atmosphere, the orchard is a pleasant place to enjoy early spring flowers.
Blooming conditions vary from year to year, so checking the latest blossom information before visiting is recommended.
