Jizo Tour
About 30 jizo (stone statues of Buddhist bodhisattvas) are line up along the Kamo River.
People have “faith in jizo,” which occurred in the beautiful Mt. Daisen located on the western part of Tottori.
Even today, the faith is widely spread across the foot of Mt. Daisen, and jizo is extensively worshiped.
People pray to them for all kinds of wishes and the souls of the deceased.
