Tanegashima Akagome-Kan
This museum is dedicated to "Akogome", which is a type of red rice that was brought to this area from the southern region long ago.
The museum showcases local traditional events related to red rice, as well as regional rice cultivation, and much more.
The theater shows a video titled "A Romantic Trip Through Minamitane-cho, " which offers information on Minamitane-cho's local tourism highlights, performing arts, and events.
The museum also sells red rice and folk art.
