Syurakuen Daibutsu (Big Buddha)
Dedicated in 1927 to commemorate the marriage of Emperor Showa, this great Buddha statue is a symbol of Tokai City. It has been named by Tokai City as a Cultural Property.
One of the largest Buddha statues in Japan, it stands an impressive 18m tall.
