This is a two-story watchtower in the southwest corner of Mito Castle Ninomaru.
It was restored in 2021 as part of the historical landscape improvements.
Exhibits related to the history of Mito castle and the restoration and maintenance of historical buildings at the castle are on display inside this restored building.
