Panoramic Views from a UNESCO Global Geopark Highland

At an elevation of 650 meters, the summit of Shishikukougen offers sweeping views over the Hakusan Tedorigawa UNESCO Global Geopark.
From here, visitors can admire the textbook-perfect Tedori River alluvial fan, with vistas stretching across the Kaga Plain to the distant Sea of Japan.

The area also features a spacious dog run for small and medium-sized dogs.

A highland café has recently reopened as the “Picnic Plaza,” where visitors may bring their own lunches.
The facility also includes a frozen self-kitchen where guests can prepare frozen foods themselves.

Shishikukougen is also known for excellent conditions for paragliding, thanks to favorable winds from the Sea of Japan.
Anyone can enjoy a tandem sightseeing flight with an instructor by registering at the local paragliding school.
