Hiyoshi Jinja Shrine

The current main shrine of Hiyoshi jinja Shrine was built around 1844 (Tenpo 15), and the worship hall and Heiden were built in 1855 (Ansei 2).
The outer circumference of the main shrine is engraved with colorful sculptures of the former Kuro Kayama (Hakurakuten, etc.) taken from the "Ehon nezashi takara vol. 5."
It is designated as a Tangible Cultural Heritage by Akishima City along with the Sugito Painting of the Heiden.
The Sakai Festival, an annual festival hosted by the Hiyoshi Shrine, is also designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage (Performing Arts) by the prefecture.
