Imamiya Jinja Shrine

The shrine was founded by Tsunafusa Mibu as a guardian shrine of Kanuma-jo Castle in 1534.
After the fall of the Mibu clan, it was rebuilt as a local shrine for Kanuma Juku (post station) in 1608.
In the “Kanuma Autumn Festival” held every October, gorgeous floats with sculptural decorations gather at the shrine and pour into the streets.
