Ome City Mitake Community Center
Ome City Mitake Community Center is located at the entrance of the Mitake area, and they provide information on sightseeing, sports and recreation.
The hall located there is an open space and commands a wonderful view of Mitake valley that can be freely used by anyone.
The facility includes shower rooms (100 yen per use), and there is also a place where you can try bouldering.
People often gather in the Mitake area, where Mitake gorge and Mt. Mitake are located, to enjoy activities in its rich and natural environment, including fresh water fishing for ayu (sweetfish) and yamame, mountain activities such as trekking and hiking, and water activities such as canoeing and rafting.
