Oni Exchange Museum

The Oni Exchange Museum features a compilation of legends describing exterminating demons - locally, from all over the country, and the world.
The museum has many rare demon tiles, demon masks and paintings.

※ You can make your own traditional Japanese roof ornaments (onigawara) at the nearby workshop.(Reservations and workshop fee required)
※ The nearby Onitake Inari Shrine at the eighth station of Mt Oe is a good place to view the sea of clouds from October to early December.

Transportation: (1) From the Maizuru-Oe IC on the Kyoto Jukan Expressway, take National Route 175 and Prefectural Route 9 towards Oe, approximately 30 minutes.
(2) Tantetsu Oeyamaguchi Uchimiya Station, alight at the last stop of the city bus bound for Oeyama House.
