Mt. Arafune
Mt. Arafune is one of Japan's top 200 most famous mountains.
The name "Arafune" comes from the way the mountain peak has a smooth shape to it that's reminiscent of a ship sailing through the waves.
The mountain hiking paths here are very well cared for, and there are plenty of guide signposts set up so that anyone can come and go hiking without any need to worry.
The scenic view from "Tomoiwa" is truly a must-see experience.
