Shimonita Geopark

Shimonita Geopark features a unique mountain range landscape.
Each of these mountains along the range has its own distinct look to admire.
The so-called "rootless mountain" (Atokura Klippe) in particular, which can be spotted from the center of the town, has a rock formation that differs from the top to bottom.
The upper strata apparently shifted a long time ago far back in history.
Guided tours are also available for the neighborhood around Geopark.
