Fukuroi Juku Higashi Honzin Park

In a shukuba-machi (post town), there used to be a prestigious inn called a honjin where in most cases, persons in a high position like a daimyo (a Japanese feudal lord) and a kuge (a court noble) stayed on their trip.
In the park, there remain a small garden and a Kabuki-mon gate which used to be a part of the honjin.
Stones and grass are arranged so that the floor layout of the honjin can be traced back.
