Iwamotoyama Park
Located in the western part of the city, this park is set atop the 190-meter Mount Iwamoto.
It has a plaza, plum garden, hiking trails, and an observation deck, and is particularly stunning in the spring season when about 300 plum trees are in bloom. Mount Fuji framed by plum blossoms makes for a picture-perfect view.
The observation deck offers panoramic views of the Izu Peninsula and Suruga Bay, and is particularly stunning at night.
