Oya Park (Heiwa Kannon)
Oya Park has “Heiwa (peace) Kannon”, a Kannon statue carved from the face of a natural rock wall to console the spirits of those who died in war and to pray for world peace.
The park’s “Heiwa Kannon” and nature such as pine trees complement each other, giving the place its tranquil atmosphere, making it a favorite destination for many sightseers.
