The Matsugamine Church is a Catholic church built in the Modern Romanesque style of architecture, and most of it is made using Oya-ishi stone, a specialty building material of Utsunomiya.
This church is one of Japan’s Registered Tangible Cultural Properties.
A solemn atmosphere fills the cathedral, and the exterior is lit up beautifully at night.
