Illumination of Nishijima
This is the handmade illumination road the residents in Nishijima area of Minobu Town have created.
More than about 100,000 light bulbs light up 35 houses alongside a 500-meter stretch of road.
On weekends when “yuzuyu (hot citrus fruit drink)” or “suiton (flour dumplings boiled in soup)” are occasionally served free of charge, many visitors in and outside of the prefecture come and see this tourist spot.
