Kiunkaku

The central feature of Kiunkaku is the famous residence that was built as a villa in 1919 and lauded as one of the three grand villas in Atami.

With a main building (in a Japanese style) that retains the beauty of Japanese houses, a detached building, a Western-style building with a unique atmosphere that is a fusion of various decorations and styles, and a lush garden that one would not expect to find in an urban area, the building is part of the city’s historical and cultural heritage.
