Hitoana Fuji-ko Iseki
This is a sacred place where Hasegawa Kakugyo, the founder of Fuji worship, a popular belief established in the Edo period, is said to have meditated in order to focus his mind on a single point, eliminate all distractions, and attain the state of absolute enlightenment.
* The Hitoana Fuji-ko Iseki Tourist Information Center is open only on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (10:00am to 3:00pm).
