Tomb No.8 of Cluster of Tunnel Tomb at Deyama
This is the only on-site observation facility in Mitaka City that preserves the “No.8 Tomb” of “Deyama Oketsu-bo Gun (a group of tunnel tombs)” built around the 7th century that was excavated in 1993 and is permanently open to the public.
Excavated artifacts and replicas of bones of buried people are exhibited in the facility, which was designated as a historical site of Tokyo in 1994.
