Omiwa Jinja Shrine
Omiwa Jinja Shrine is one of Japan’s oldest shrines.
It is dedicated to the deity Omononushi-no-okami, and people have worshiped the whole Mt. Miwa as his reification.
Exhibiting an ancient style of Shintoism, which worships nature as deities, Omiwa jinja Shrine has no main hall but just a triple torii gate at the back of its worship hall.
