Hibara jinja Shrine

Hibara Jinja Shrine is a small shrine standing on Ebara-daichi highland, which is on the skirt of Mt. Miwa and overlooks Nara Basin.
It is considered one of the “original Ise” shrines that were dedicated to the deity Amanoterasu for a time before Ise-jingu Shrine moved to its current location.
The sight of the sun setting over Mt. Nijo, directly facing the shrine, is magical.
