Seigan-in Temple

This temple was a Buddhist temple belonging to the Kencho-ji School of the Rinzai Sect, founded between the end of the 14th century and the early 15th century.
The main hall and the Bentendo hall in the precinct are relatively new buildings that were rebuilt in the Heisei period.
Selected as one of the Ten Views of Fussa, this temple presents the beauty of Buddhist architecture as there is a pond whose water comes from several spring waters in the precinct lying before the main hall.
