Senbon Pine Grove
Senbon Pine Grove extends from the mouth of Kano River to Tagonoura. It is a prime scenic spot of the former Tokaido road and has been chosen as one of Japan’s "100 scenic beaches with pine trees."
Some of the most beautiful views from this place include the sight of Mount Fuji in the background of the pine grove and the crimson sunset on Suruga Bay.
As a place where many literary figures resided in the past, Senbon Pine Grove is littered with many monuments inscribed with poetry and prose.
