Numazu Alps is a name given by local experienced hikers to a series of low peaks through which they established a trail.
The trail starting from Mt. Kanuki extends south through Mt. Yoko, Mt. Tokura, Mt. Shige, Mt. Kowashizu, Mt. Washizu, and Mt. Ohira.
Though the highest peak is only 392 m above sea level, the trail has many ups and downs with some parts where you’ll have to hold onto the provided chains or ropes to pass. Along the series of peaks are many scenic spots where you can rest and enjoy stunning views.
