In Shibasaki-cho stands Fusaiji, a temple of the Kenchoji school of the Rinzai (Zen) sect of Buddhism.
The precincts of this temple are believed to be the site of a residence of the Tachikawa clan that ruled this area during the Kamakura period (1185–1333).
The Rokumen-sekito, a National Treasure consisting of carvings of the Four Heavenly Kings and the two Deva Kings, is preserved here.
