Dengaku-Chaya has been reproduced based on one of the Japanese woodblock prints “Tokaido Gojusan-tsugi (Fifty-Three Stages in Tokaido Road)” created by Hiroshige Ando, a popular Ukiyo-e artist at the end of the Edo period (1603-1868), in which a Dengaku-chaya of Ishibe was depicted.
The facility is a single-story wooden building in which drinks and light meals are served, making it possible for tourists to take a rest.
