Mikumo Castle Ruins

The castle is believed to have been built by Tenzen Mikumo in the late Muromachi period (1336–1573).
There remain a gigantic rock of more than 8 meters high called “Hachijo-iwa” and stone walls on the grounds of the castle ruins.
From the castle remains, visitors can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Nosu-gawa river and the Ryuo area across the river.
