Yoshihime jinja Shrine is an ancient shrine that corresponds to a female god in relation to Yoshimiko jinja Shrine as a male god.
At the annual festival held on May 1, a portable shrine is carried out from each shine and is paraded through the city.
Wooden komainu (shrine guardian dog statues) with a charming expression were made during the Nanbokucho period (1336-1392).
