Kainan jinja Shrine

This shrine was built in 982. It is located near the tuna restaurant district in Misaki.
The shrine is related to the famous Minamoto no Yorimoto, and it is said that Yoritomo himself planted the large sacred male and female ginkgo trees.
The shrine has been designated as the UNESCO intangible Cultural Heritage site.
There are also events here, such as Chakkirako and annual festivals.
You can also try your luck taking the unique tuna omikuji!
