Designated as a national registered monument (scenic spot)

Uozu has been known as a mirage spot since the Edo era, and the "Kikenjyo no Zu" drawing of the mirage that emerged when the lord of the Kaga domain, Haruna, stayed at the Utazu Omiya in the 17th year of the Kansei period (1797) still remains.
This place, where historical records of the mirage of the Edo period remain as historical materials, is registered as a national cultural property.
